Some games you have to pull a wisdom tooth in order to unlock / access additional content. Not the case with The Old Hunters. We have all been in environments where it was very difficult to get to the goodies, but Sony has made it easy. Here’s a link that will lay out all the steps for you: How to access The Old Hunters steps.
You’ll soon be transported to Hunter’s Nightmare thus beginning a deviated vision of a landscape you’re well used to: Yharnam. Even though you may be familiar with the landscape it doesn’t feel old and tired. Rivers are red with blood, there are strange things growing and there is evidence of battles everywhere.
When you start your explorations (ie adventure) you’ll soon run into tons of hunters everywhere. Many have thought that hunters were tough in Bloodborne, but be ready here because they are tough and there are plenty. OK. they don’t match the mini-boss battles – but they hit hard enough to daze you into thinking that they are. Take your new found weapons and go to town on them. Get familiar with them because if you’re not quick – you’ll be seeing the Game Over screen soon enough.
There will be a time where you will question yourself. You’ll wonder if you can actually make it through. After a couple of hours you’ll be faced with Ludwig – one of many bosses. He is tough and he’s the first you’ll face. This will give you an idea of what you’re up against in The Old Hunters.
Bloodborne The Old Hunters has been out for some time now. People have weighed in and agreed: This game is hard. Be ready for some fighting that is beyond the difficulty of a titles that are out there, and far beyond what you would expect from Bloodborne.
