April 26, 2016 Mirror's Edge Catalyst goes closed beta

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst’s Design Director Erik Odeldahl, recently laid out the beta plan in a blog.  We now have some more details about the Mirror’s Edge Catalyst beta.  For all of you holding your breath… it’s a closed beta. The major task behind the beta is to test the new features of the game.

The Beta starts April 22, and will last for five days concluding on April 26th. Those of you who signed up for the beta and have been selected as lucky MEC subjects will get your codes April 22nd. All the other lucky ones will get them the following day.

The beta is going to highlight several of the main story missions, side missions, and optional content. The Social Play feature will also be in there somewhere.  According to Odeldahl, the Social Play allows players to create their own content in single player mode.
