We are motivated to learn from our history to ensure our future.
GameGlance’s company history in itself is quite short; however, the history of the company doesn’t begin with the opening of its doors. In order to find out when it all began, we must go back 30 years.

It was the spring of 1975, Christopher and his brother were waiting for their father to come back home. Their father, a Major in the US Army, was often late because of his duties on base, and this day was no different.

After what seemed like a million hours, their father walked in with a big box under his arm. Christopher’s older brother David ran towards his father and started tugging at the box. Their father eventually gave way and the box became a blur of paper and cardboard as the boys ripped it open.

Inside was something neither of the boys had ever seen. A black contraption with wires and switches was before them. With wide eyes, the two boys looked at their father for an explanation, “It’s called Pong” their father said. That is when the bug bit them and it bit hard.

Over the next 30 years, they would continue to play just about any game that came on the market. You name it, they played it. They have grown-up side-by-side with the gaming industry.

That is where the history of GameGlance begun, some 30 years ago in a small house in the California desert. It begun with the discovery of a passion. The rest, is our “history.”
